Exhibit your artwork, baked goods or your prized collection pieces at the Open Class Exhibition at Noble County Community Fair!

Cash Prizes
1st $2

Entry fee
$1 per person;  unlimited items.

1st and 2nd placements will be awarded based on quality of item at the judges’ discretion.

Best of Show will be awarded in Classes 33 through 41. The winner will receive a rosette ribbon and $10.

Closed Judging will begin at 12:30 on July 16 and all decisions of the judges will be final.

Classes 33-41 and Specials are open to people of any age.

Exhibits must be entered in Floral Hall July 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or July 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Advanced entry is encouraged in all classes - including the Special Exhibits - and can be made to Noble County Extension Office, 2090 N. State Rd. 9, Albion, IN 46701, by July 8, 2011.  Call 260-636-2111 or 1-800-601-5826 with questions.

All class entries are final and are the decision of the exhibitor.

Exhibitors will be completing their own identification tags. Use of address labels is encouraged.

No display can be exhibited more than two years in a row.

Exhibits must be picked up Sunday, July 24, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. or on Monday, July 25, between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m.

Exhibitors must show their entry tickets in order to redeem their exhibits.

All entries must remain on exhibit until 6:00 pm Sunday, July 24.  Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your winnings. 

After 3:00 p.m. on July 16, Class 35 Prepared Foods will be offered for sale in Floral Hall.

No perishable food items. No cream pies, pies with eggs, or cream cheese items. 

Rules for the Art Show, Class 42

Cash Prizes
Division A: Ages 8 thru 13
1st $5
Division B: Ages 14 to 19
1st $5
Division C: Ages 20 and Up
1st  $5

Best of Show will be awarded in each Division with a rosette ribbon and $10

Exhibiting entry time and eligibility of exhibitors will be same as other classes

All work must be original and must have been completed in the last two years.

Work previously shown in Open Class Art Show at the Noble County Community Fair will not be accepted for exhibit.

All paintings, drawings and prints must be appropriately framed and ready for hanging.

An exhibitor may exhibit no more than 3 pieces of work.  The work may be exhibited in any category.

Decision of the judge will be final.

No kits or items using commercial molds are accepted.

The Photography entry may be a single photo or a group of 2 to 5 photos.  All photos should be mounted or matted.  The group entry must be all together on one mounting.

The Open Class Committee reserves the right to refuse to exhibit articles deemed inappropriate for display or not fitting a listed category.

Best of Show Awards will be given only when there are at least five entries for each special exhibit class. 

Special Exhibit Classes have been developed as a part of  the Noble County Community Fair.

A fee of $1 will be charged per category entered and must be paid upon entry. There is no limit to items or categories submitted by each individual.

The Open Class Committee and  the Noble County Community Fair Corporation are not responsible if exhibits are lost, damaged  or not claimed at the designated times.  Unclaimed items must be redeemed at the Purdue Extension Office in Albion by August 5th or they will be discarded.
